vdB142: Nebulous area in nebula IC1396 in Cepheus


IC1396 is a large (over 2 degrees in size) nebula complex in the constellation Cetus. Within this nebula are several smaller nebulas including vdB142, which is the yellowish area in the photograph above. Click here for a close-up of vdb142.
