Star Trails at Point of Rocks

Stars trace 76 minutes of the Earth rotation during the 2009 Leonid Meteor shower. Taken at Point of Rocks, in the Cimarron National Grassland located by Elkhart, KS

This picture is composed of 100 individual photos taken early in the morning. During the night this camera took 420 images over a 5 1/2 hour period.
