Monday night under the stars in Cimarron National Grasslands north of Elkhart, Kansas.
This photo adjusted in Photoshop to best present what my eyes saw, but unfortunately it fails to capture the fact the meteor streaked across the entire southern sky. Cameras do a great job collecting light but just do not capture the momentary flash of light our eyes can.
