C1995O1 : Comet Hale-Bopp

The Great Comet of 1997

Comet Hale-Bopp was a most impressive sight in the night sky for several months. Big and bright it was easily visible in the city. The tail was far better in dark skies.

This comet was my first attempt at guided astrophotography.
