Not sure if you're reading your comments or not, but I updated this code. I don't think I ever heard from you about the original problem, but I'd sure like to know what you changed to correct the problem you found so I can incorporate that to the newest version.
Also, I'd love it if you tried the new one to see if it works any better for you.

Thanks again!

Howard,

Nice shot of the moon lighting up the field.

I think your high temp readings were high also. I stayed pretty much under a EZ up canopy during the day and only really got uncomfortable Tue or Wed (can't remember which was hottest) and only then when there was no breeze. Jack Eastman said his low temp was around 30 degrees. I stayed up late that night to try to get the gegenschein, nearly froze and didn't get it - I guess there was too much moisture in the air. Speaking of that, this is the first time (of attending for 4 yrs) that I have seen dew at OTSP. The nights after the rain definitely had a brighter sky background that the first couple of nights.

Take care and clear skies always,
Don Horne

Very nice. Not many of us have the where-withall, including time and money for equipment and travel costs to even try, much less, produce such great videos.

Howard, I was impressed with your all-night TLV at Okie-Tex a few years ago- truly outstanding ... and, you got the best shot of the fireball of anyone that night. I had my Canon 30D with a 50 mm lens on Orion at the time, so I just missed it -- dern it! Such is 'the luck of the draw' as 'they' say.

Take care.

Howard,
I've been following your Blog for some time now. I really like your astrophotos, esp those from Okie-Tex and I've used your FOV calculator for my lenses. Thanks! I hope some day to get shots of the Zodiacal Light and Gegenschein similar to yours. I'll have to do those at Okie-Tex - I live just south of Nashville, TN - heap big light pollution.

I've been a little concerned that you haven't posted since Jan.
Hope all is well with you.

Adam hailing from Denver with kilt? Hey thanks! Interesting problem, you have a crash report on your device from those events now. I can email you directions on how to retrieve and send that to me.

Now what the heck is it with iPod Touchs? I had another error reported from iPod touch user where it was crashing. Oddly it was fixed by switching to 24hr time format (!)(?) Clearly the touch is not the same as an iPhone (software wise).

Thinking the maps will be in the (true) iPad edition, it has such a lovely screen!
